Terms of Use
Last updated June 26, 2026
The short version
Only connect to machines you own or have permission to access. Don't do illegal or abusive things. The "whip" is a joke — be kind to your bots and to real humans. It's free, it's provided as-is, and we're not liable if your agent still slacks off.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using WhipDesk (operated by BinaryBanana LLC, "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms. If you're using it on behalf of a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept on its behalf. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. The service
WhipDesk is a remote-desktop tool for connecting to your own machines and checking on the AI agents running there, across LAN, STUN, and TURN connection modes. Features may change, improve, or occasionally break while we make them better.
3. Your account & PIN
You're responsible for your account, your devices, and your agent PIN. We store the PIN only as a hash on your own devices and never learn it — which means if you lose it, we can't recover it for you. Keep your credentials safe and don't share access with people you wouldn't hand your laptop to.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Connect to any machine you don't own or aren't authorized to access.
- Use WhipDesk for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive.
- Attempt to break, overload, or reverse the service in bad faith (good-faith security research is welcome — talk to us).
- Whip any actual, physical humans. The whip is strictly metaphorical.
5. About the whip
"Whipping" your AI agents is a figure of speech for sending them a little accountability. No agents — or people — are harmed. Please be kind to your bots; they're trying their best, mostly.
6. Open source & license
The agent and the LAN/relay components are open source under their stated license (see the GitHub repository). Those licenses govern your use of the code; these Terms govern your use of our hosted service.
7. Intellectual property
The WhipDesk name, logo, and the hosted service belong to BinaryBanana LLC. Our open-source components stay under their published licenses (see GitHub), and nothing here signs those rights away — but using the service doesn't hand you our trademarks or branding.
8. Donations
TURN-mode donations are voluntary and help cover relay-server costs. They're not a subscription, they don't unlock features, and they're generally non-refundable. Thank you, genuinely, if you chip in.
9. No warranty
WhipDesk is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or that your agent will suddenly become productive.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, WhipDesk and its makers aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or productivity arising from your use of the service.
11. Indemnification
If your use of WhipDesk — or your breaking of these Terms or someone else's rights — lands us in a legal mess, you agree to cover the reasonable costs (including legal fees) of any resulting third-party claim. We'll give you a heads-up if that ever comes up.
12. Termination
You can stop using WhipDesk and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where BinaryBanana LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes belong in the courts located there.
14. General
These Terms are the whole agreement between us about the service. If any part turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. Our not enforcing a term once doesn't waive it later, and you can't transfer your rights under these Terms without our OK.
15. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms; we'll change the date above and flag anything important. Questions? Start with the GitHub project, issues, or pull requests; email [email protected] only if needed.
These Terms of Use are published in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only — if there's ever a conflict, the English version is the legally binding one.
