Security you can check yourself
Everything you install is open source.
Your screen and your taps travel straight from your dev machine to your phone. WhipDesk only introduces the two devices to each other — the session itself never goes through it. If a firewall blocks the direct path, a coturn relay passes the encrypted packets along without being able to read them.
Open source
The agent you install on your machine and the controller that runs in your browser are both open source. Read the code, or point your own AI agent at it.
End-to-end encrypted
Sessions run over WebRTC, so encryption is enforced by the protocol. There is no unencrypted mode to fall back to.
We only help you connect
WhipDesk helps your phone find your machine, and nothing more. Your screen, your input, and your files never pass through it.
Standard relay, sealed packets
If a firewall blocks the direct path, traffic relays through coturn — the standard open-source TURN server — which forwards encrypted packets it cannot read.
PIN before the first frame
Not one screen frame is sent until your PIN is verified. The PIN itself never crosses the wire.
Builds you can verify
Releases are built from tagged source with published checksums and build provenance. macOS builds are notarized.
